"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

"Surrounding special natural resources, as beautiful beach, gardan,wild forest. The lemurs come to just behind the bangarows! And owners and staff are warmly care every guest. And foods are awesome especially seafoods. We need to take a boat to reach and it's relly good excursions. I wish I would've stay longer, actually I was there only two nights. They have many tours to enjoy your stay. The transportation to the airport was 20 EUR."

"Location of the lodge is real highlight. Right on the shoreline with the sea view on one side, three other sides face greenery of surrounding mangroves with water level changes wih tidal cycles. Rooms face the west providing joy of watching sunsets from private balconies. However, this nature's beauty couldn't translate into a holiday to remember due to reasons of humans making. "Everything about the resort was good. Very clean and in good shape. There was some resturants in the area that was cheeper but the high quality on the resort meals was worth the price difference! There was a short walk to the beach and it was nice to go for walks along the beach."
