"I stayed mid week. I had concerns about seeing panhandlers and such being in the area. Totally unfounded during our stay. Felt safe enough that an evening swim off the swimming dock was enjoyed by the grandkid. So enjoyed the stay and view of the harbour. No physical staff around but I felt ok with the text options. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is a better lock system with the addition of a dead bolt lock. The present door lock and chain lock system did cause some worry about security. I was tempted to put a chair under both door handles, front and back doors, but did not. . All in all I would certainly stay there again."

"We used this property as a little getaway after our group was done work in Fort Frances every day. Wonderful view of the lake from the back deck, and the cabin was very nice. I will definitely go back in the future."

"This property was lovely - great location - close to the water/dock. Close enough to town when more bait was needed. Far enough out - quiet, relaxing. The owner went above and beyond when an item got left behind to ensure it got shipped back to us.For us, personally - a family of four - one adult child and a teenager, this was a bit small for our situation. We brought food for the week and the fridge was small for what we had.We would consider staying again with modifications to our food planning."
