"This place is immaculate, and the hosts are out of this world friendly, helpful and honest. It’s much nicer than the photos; I really appreciated the high end finishes, furniture and appliances. The house is shaded by trees, which was lovely in the hot summer days. I loved hanging out on the lawn and getting visits from Eder, the Maine Coon cat. The big TV was great for entertainment, and there was even a secretary’s desk for my art supplies! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with block parties and book boxes. The hot water is plentiful. They even let me use their mailbox.A few glitches. Chiefly, the iffy heating system (being blasted with heat in the middle of the night despite the thermostat being on 66) and a weak WIFI (now fixed with an extender).Addressing or at least informing me of these thing prior to or during move in (especial given the two weeks’ vacancy I paid for in full because of sickness/trip delay) would have helped my ease and comfort considerably. Other things too, like providing sponges and hand dishwashing liquid, notification of the reversed hot/cold water in the downstairs shower, advertising the fact that the house shares a wall (a risk for things like shared fire alarm systems glitching at 5 am) and compensation for drinking contaminated water (the house was vacant for two weeks and the water stagnated in the pipes) would have contributed to a five star review.Thank you, Mari and Thomas. I know you are committed to making improvemen"

"Loved our stay here. Had everything we needed and good proximity to Seattle (when the traffic wasn't heavy). The backyard was a lovely bonus. More pictures would have been helpful. Didn't know the space was attached to the house, beds were in the entryroom which didn't have AC, or that the fridge wasn't full size. Owners were super friendly and easy to get a hold of with questions. Even offered some fresh plums from the tree in the back : ) Would stay again, especially for the price."
