Stunning home on Louis Head Beach available for rent.

"The house is in a perfect and very beautiful location at the very end of a dirt road right on the beach where the Sable River meets the Atlantic ocean. You have about a mile of beach to your right and salt marshes to your left. We made plenty use of the kayaks and also went out and did some clamming (delicious!). Everything in the house met our expectations. It was clean and well stocked with paper goods, cleaning supplies and even spare light bulbs. As we always do when renting vacation homes we bring our own kitchen knives and a few other kitchen accessories that we don't want to go without (preparing good food is at the center of our life). If you are like us, you might want to do the same. Communication with the host was prompt and impeccable. They sent us tips for shopping which was helpful. Mind that the local stores have only very limited products but are often really good sources for seafood! We were 6 adults and had plenty of space; even turned the basement family room into our own little yoga studio casting online classes on to the TV. And definitely noteworthy is that the house has a humidity recovery ventilation system which truly kept the in-door humidity (near the ocean!) in check, As for the outside: maybe it was the time of the year, but be aware of the mosquitos :-) Despite those we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!"

"Cozy rooms in a quiet town. Things were good overall, but there were a couple spiders w/ (small) webs we had to clear out (one behind the TV, one in the bathtub). Shower curtain looked like it could use replacing. A couple outlets were not very snug. However, the beds were comfortable and clean, and despite the minor quibbles above the room was pleasant and the price was reasonable. Parking right in front of the room was nice as well."

"What a great spot, a historic apartment with all the amenities in the core of one of the most charming seaside towns that feels less touched by tourist hubbub. Great eateries, a gallery or two, a museum, historic fare. And walk to all of it and then home again from Shawn’s rental. A delight!!"
Lakefront Living in a Sunset Cove with kayaks

"Booked this site for my daughters Grade 12 graduation gift since she loves swimming and a quiet cottage.Everything was just as advertised. Scenery is just breathtaking. Relaxing for swimmers and non swimmers. Kayaks, water boards and row boat were available to use from a very accessible dock and small rock beach. The town of Shelburne is a short distance away (just over 20mins) for groceries and quite a few eat in restaurants. Wifi was good and plenty of board games to play. The heat pump was pretty valuable too. :)Kitchen was large and the bedrooms were quite cozy. There is a fireplace as well but we never used it. Helen was very responsive and answered any questions I had very quickly. We will be back to visit soon. We had an amazing time!!"
