"Had a great stay at this Apt. Easy to check in and out. Was close to everything we needed and wanted to visit. The apt was well equipped with all the appliances we needed and were even able wash our cloths. Everything was perfect for out stay including the weather. "

"While the facilities provided in the apartment were as stated, the dark location at the rear of the building was disappointing with virtually no outlook. The constant humming from the electronics was particularly annoying to hearing aids. We never used the cooking facilities, so cannot comment. For a 1 week stay this is not a great facility and in our opinion is overpriced."

"stayed 3 nights with my husband between xmas and new year. the apartment is welcoming and spotless and of a very good standard. the view from the front is stunning. we did have a powercut due to storm gerrit but it did not stop us having a restful few days. Good location to visit lots of places nearby and Inverness was only 1 hour away. Would recommend!"

"This is a perfect apartment for a small group to visit Fort William. It has a parking spot if you are driving yourself. It put us in driving range ti visit the Isle of Skye. Takes a whole day to do but worth it if you get over that way"

"The property owner was helpful whenever I had a question and the place was clean. The location is a small walk to town but there are sidewalks all the way and it is right by a bus station if you won’t want to walk. You get a good view of the Loche and there is food in the fridge for breakfast. Great value for the price."

"Myself and a friend escaped busy Edinburgh out here for the peace, quiet and of course the views. So much to see out here. From the beach house to the ride around to the nearby towns. The views are gorgeous. Makes you want to just stay ."

"We never got an email with the code for the key safe. Contacted VRBO and was on hold for ages. I was given the phone number for the owner who we phoned and he contacted us back after some time. He gave us the code and was apologetic but still waiting for up date from yourselves. We got into the property some 2 hours late which wasn't a good start to our break. Communication had been good to this part. Accommodation suited us and great location. Would use again for a group of lads"

"We were disgusted when we arrived. The kitchen floor was taped up and tiles were loose. My husband is disabled so this was so dangerous for him. Paint around winvdows had mould on them. Moved radiator cover and floor was filthy. No mirror in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Everything lacked any attention to detail or personality. Luckily holiday company was fantastic and was able to move us on quickly"

"Too expensive for performance. Promised water views are obscured by a roof. Living room too dark due to small window. Lighting in the living room defective. Two lightbulbs were replaced by us. Kitchen floor unclean. For groceries, except refrigerator, no possibility of storage. No storage space for toiletries in the bathroom. Bedroom ok"

"Large apartment ideally situated for seeing the highlands. Close to shops and the train station. We had a lovely visit there. Highly recommended. Large kitchen too."

Had pre-booked loads of wildlife adventures and nowhere more relaxing to come back to at night.As a sweaty hiker,I especially loved the invigorating shower!"

"The Old Distillery Apartment has amazing views of the mountains and also of the Jacobean Train going past. It is very spacious, comfortable and within walking distance to the train station and High Street. The only problem was taking your bags up the many flights of stairs!"
