"A stunning property. The attention to detail in the decor is beautiful and it really elevates the ambience of your stay. Dog friendly which is unexpected given the quality of the interior design, but a welcomed one. The room is spacious with all needs accounted for (iron, air con, mood lighting). The foods in Nelson's is excellent quality with a nice option of choices with big portion sizes. The gardens on the grounds are well maintained and add to the property. Overall a beautiful hotel. "

"Good place to stay, beer only slightly above pub prices. Decent food in the evening. Breakfast is buffet and good value. The scrambled eggs are so lush I went back for more. They must be using cream or butter in them. "

"The domestic staff are wonderfu, very helpful, lovely people and so very kind. All the staff we were in contact with could not of been nicer. My wife had her 21st some 51 years ago at this hotel! We were both originally from Heswall. Our trip was one to help my brother in law who lives in New Brighton who has had a nasty fall booth breaks in his ankle. Thank you for your help."

"Very comfortable stay in one of the lodges. Great location with lots to see and do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. Snowdon hikes are a 15/30 minute drive away depending on what route you take up the mountain. Having free access to the swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful after a days hiking. Only negative was the quality and quantity of the breakfast was a bit lacking. "

"Honestly i didnt have high hopes for this place. Was just a little night away so glad we booked it. The rooms were very spacious and clean everything we needed in there aswell. Even tho its by a main road we couldnt hear anything. Check in was quick and easy. We had food an drinks in the bar at sround half 8 food was great fab prices aswell. Cocktails needed abit of work but i think the young bar lady was new so im.sure she will be great eventually. We had breakfast which again was lovely an was just £15 for 2 all u can eat full english and the mushrooms were bloody delicious!! We will definitely go back here!! "We stayed in room 36 and wow wow wow was we blown away it was 5 star suit soo comfy we were looked after so well Food was excellent breakfast was amazing especially the sousage im.fussy about sousage they were gorgeous .the bath was separate room and very big and the walk in shower was big aswell our weekend was absolutely amazing we were spoilt and the swimming pool area was great took we'll be back. Thank you john and Megan for your kindness xxx"
