The hotel is in the middle of Shrewsbury so access to all areas is very easy . Good internet access and the bedroom comfortable with a bath as well. Evening meal the restaurant was also good. "Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property. The evening food was fantastic, and there was a good selection of drinks available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze, and gave me a great history of the property, an overview of the surroundings, and all the information I needed without having to ask. Would certainly recommend this place. "

"Clean single room, great for a few night's stay. Downside: widows do not open (restricted) and it was hot!!! Thank you for a fan. It would be great I the windows were not restricted and I could create a draft to air out the room. Staff were nice, it's just the wait time. Maybe it was my own fault as it was busy. Another thing - there was nowhere to put the backpack/ luggage. Could you please provide a bench or something? It would be a great addition to the room!"
