Peaceful
We had an issue at check in, in as much as it didn’t seem ready, black bag still in the bin, food waste still in the bin, damp towels in bathroom (unsure if used) and the bedroom not made up. We text the owner who came straight away and was mortified, they had only just returned from being away and the cleaner employed did not do as requested. I felt sorry for the owner (Debbie) and she couldn’t apologise enough and got everything ready as quickly as possible and apologised again with some goodies for us. We understand these things can sometimes happen and it was out of her control but it just takes that shine off check in. Once Debbie had finished cleaning and tidying to the usual standard it was lovely. The stable is just as seen in the pictures, in fact I thought it was bigger than expected. Everything you need for a trip away. The garden was perfect for our dog, fully enclosed and plenty of room to roam, including on the land around the cottage. She also played with Mia (Debbie’s dog). It’s perfectly located and plenty of places to visit in a short journey in the car. While our check in process wasn’t perfect, we would still highly recommend the stable to visit and certainly shouldn’t put anyone off going.
