"Could be a lovely hotel if more attention paid to lots of little things that add up. On the positive side - Our breakfasts were very good (other than a chipped breakfast cup). Staff were very pleasant. Good parking at back of hotel. Nice little bar area. Very comfortable bed with nice clean linen and towels. Then (if only someone paid attention to detail!), Sticky, grubby door handles and stair rails In the bedroom, coffee cup stains on the dressing table, a dirty pair of socks in the drawer, dried out contact lenses on the bedside table, crumbs around and behind curtain area, mould around windows, cobwebs, curtain off rail. In the bathroom, mould in the shower and paint peeling on the ceiling, rusty shower soap tray, dirt and dust around radiator and on door mouldings, mould around window and on glass. The room in need of a good deep clean, interior of drawers and wardrobe need wiping out."

"This guest house was in an amazing location in Aberystwyth, right along the beach, short walk to the cliff railway and pier. We only stayed one night but it was really comfortable especially for the price."

"Found the hotel really good. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and it was very good value for money. Breakfast was included in the price we paid and was really good. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed and the bathroom was a good size. Lovely clean bedding and towels and everywhere was clean."

"The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again."

"We stayed in a suite with beautiful sea views. The room was lovely. The staff were friendly and the food was good. There was also free parking. I stayed with my family and I would definitely recommend the hotel. I will stay here again in the future."

"If you are thinking about visiting Barmouth, the Seascape is absolutely the best place to stay. My husband and I stayed at the Seascape in Barmouth for 3 days, and we could not have had a better experience. We had a Seaview, and it was beautiful; every morning we enjoyed our coffees in the lovely seating area in our room, looking out onto the sea! The bed was sooo comfortable; at home I wake up every morning with a bit of a backache, but for the two nights we stayed here, not an ache or pain. The shower in our room was amazing! The rooms are clean and large, and with a fridge in the room, we were able to buy and bring our own food as well. By far, the BEST thing about the Seascape are Shona and Bash, our hosts and new friends!!! They are amazing, and absolutely everything you want in a host; they go out of their way to make sure their guests are well looked after...no request is too much. Shona and Bash are wonderful guests, and more importantly to my husband and I, genuinely beautiful people!"
