"The location is good if you want proximity to subways, theaters, and action. It is a terrible location if you want a night of sleep. The room is a shoebox but you expect that in NYC. This room was noteworthy in its lack of space. The bed was boxes in the back of the room such that I had to crawl over my husband to get in and out. There was absolutely no access other than one side. There were no drawers. Instead, there are about 20 hooks on the walls to hang … everything. There is no closet....

"Very disappointing experience. We booked a 3-night stay with a city view, but on our first night, we were assigned Room 426 without being informed that no city-view rooms were available. The most frustrating part was that the staff never mentioned this during check-in. "This is a very well located hotel which was very lively. My initial impression wasn’t all that good in that I asked for a quiet room and was placed right by the bridge traffic and subway. However, when I called they made a change immediately and kindly brought me another key for a new room that met my needs. I actually ended up sleeping extremely well that night as the bed was very comfortable. It’s quite a small room with a few surface areas but for my needs as a solo traveler definitely...
