"Booked this hotel for a stop over on way home to Scotland and found a hidden gem. Set in beautiful surroundings adjacent to the canal and lovely beer garden in front of picturesque pond. The buildings and interior decor were beautiful at very reasonable room rates. Very friendly efficient staff and nice food. Couldn’t fault it for anything and will defo return. "

"A really nice quaint old building with countless amounts of wonderful antiques that you can look at throughout the stairwell and hallway the room was adequately appointed beds were very comfortable. Shower over the bath was great. The stuff were very welcoming and friendly. Unlikely to go back again if I need a location stay in the area I’d recommend it 100 hundred percent great value for money.
