"Hotel Mundial has an excellent location and the staff is brilliant, we received spectacular service. A little noisy, like any old construction in a very popular area. The big disappointment was the rooftop, one of the reasons why we chose the hotel was because we wanted to enjoy Lisbon from above with a certain peace, however, in two days we could not enjoy the place, It was rented for events and when we tried to at least see how it looked, the staff were very kind but they asked us to leave...

"It was the perfect place to stay during a long layover. Nice and close to the airport. Nice restaurant for a quick bite before getting a good nights sleep and heading back to the airport."

"Hotel sited amidst multi-storey blocks in urban situation. Some noise from traffic and building construction. Cheap transport into Lisbon area. Hotel offered free hourly taxi service to local station on weekdays. Large supermkt within short walking distance. View of bay but no local beach. Outstanding staff, good English spoken, helpful, friendly, welcoming, ready to assist on any issue. Nearby National Park worth a tour. Highly recommended for adults, not much to do for children. "

"Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Parking is difficult. The "onsite" is a narrow ramp leading to <5 very tight spaces. Best to street park in the hotel spaces in front of the lobby, but they fill up fast (maybe 3-4 spaces)."
