"it was nice. the room we had must have been one of the newer remodels rooms. the staff was ok the first Lady who helped to check me in initially, was very pleasant but my room was not ready, which was OK even though I did purchase early check-in. But the final woman dealt with kinda lied and said that she called me to let me know our room was ready, but I did not have any missed calls. Do not use early check-in because the rooms are ever available when you get there by noon. It happened to me two times but late checkout was amazing.! oh and parking is not included and they expect you to pay $25 a day!!!!!!!! which is ridiculous seeing that you're staying at their property!!!!"

"Room was not fully cleaned out when we arrived, the fridge was still full of food & we had to call house keeping to come upstairs, but the phone didn’t work lol besides that the room was ok & the kids loved the pool. Kids can only go in the pool area til 2 which is disappointing & the other older guests will let you know that a million times !! Not a kid friendly hotel at all but the kids still managed to have fun."

"All good, except this week’s check-in wasn’t nearly as welcoming as last week when I had the most wonderful, personable, experienced person check me in. It made a fantastic first impression. However, when I checked in yesterday, the associates all had coats on, didn’t smile, and didn’t seem happy to be there. The jacket thing was weird. Please make it a little warmer in there so associates don’t have coats on. Also, please have your associates smile and appear happy and excited that we are there. Great hotels that know hospitality understand that an upbeat, pleasant first impression goes a very long way toward guest satisfaction."

"Only down fall about my room was so.e rooms had normal access with a separate door for view of the pool. Mine only had normal access however it was pool view on the second floor. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Looking forward to my next stay there."

"My wife and I took a spur of the moment day trip that turned into two and we found this gem of a hotel . First and foremost the owners and staff wonderful people with a heart for hospitality. This family owned and operated hotel was like a home away from home . This charming 100 year old hotel has been updated and given new life and it is right in the heart of Ocean City . THE GOOD : Exceptionally clean room Ice cold AC Hot water strong water pressure New everything New comfy bed Keyless entry Free WiFi Free parking available in a pay to park city Free beach passes to a pay for access beach ($50 value alone) Games for kids Beautiful wrap around porch for lounging Great value for the price. THE BAD: Stairs , be mindful it is a 100 year old building so there is no elevator . However the staff did offer to help with our bags which was nice. Parking can be a little tight ( to be expected in a family beach resort town). It’s not brand new . (Duh) THE UGLY: None Beautiful people My wife and I had a lovely stay and hope to return to the Linda Grande every summer . So if you are looking an excellent stay in beautiful Ocean City for a great value this is the place for you . Hope this review is helpful . Shout out to the owners James and John for being most gracious hosts and going above and beyond making our stay one of the best we’ve had in a very long time . Check them out!"
