"Nice room but outside balcony was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and was way too warm in the room. Only one balcony door would open "

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Although there was an issue with my booking on arrival (I had a confirmation but it hadn’t been received by the hotel), they were great about it and didn’t hesitate to get me a room organised. I was a late arrival and the kitchen had closed but again the team sorted me something to eat. The room was great and breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended!"

"Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

Breakfast good however staff need more training in replenishment of items Dinner OK - very expensive for what it was as were drinks. Service not great as order taken incorrectly meaning one of our group got his meal later than the rest - they didn't charge him for it. Reception staff very good & helpful"

"We were given a room at the rear of the hotel which was in a converted annex. This was nicely decorated with basic amenities although we did have a shower and a bath. The accommodation was on 2 floors, with the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor. This was not very convenient for us when using the bathroom during the night, especially as the stairs were steep and creaked, waking us both each time. There was one chair upstairs and one downstairs so we couldn't both...

So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. "The hotel was easy to find and quite central for Keighley and venturing further afield. The car park is tucked behind the back, not so great. Although the staff were friendly and helpful at breakfast which was really cooked nice and tasted great, I found the lack of a reception quite unusual. Our room was comfy and clean but the shower was quite poor, an over bath one which was not very powerful. It says it is quirky, very true but also quite dated."
