"Ideal location in the centre of Saumur close to shops and restaurants, just under the Saumur castle. The hosts provide a breakfast option which is a nice addition. The appartment is well-furnished and comfortable."

"Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! Very old narrow winding staircase to the apartment on the top floor! The proprietor is lovely and very helpful!!!"

"The apartment was perfect for us. Perfect size, perfect location. Outside storage for our bikes and the perfect cycling location in France. David was a perfect host, sorted out any issue we had (a minor one involving a problem with the washing machine) and couldn't have been a better host. "This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "

"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."
