"The top floor of the property, where I was forced to stay, had problems with water damage. There was a damp and mild Dewey smell throughout that was coming from the ventilation system. I was moved twice in experienced the same issue throughout. I was given the runaround by the front desk staff and lied to about being able to speak to the manager. I had concerns that there was mold there, and I had a video of one room that had water damage in the ceiling and in the walls that was visible whenever I talk to anyone at the front desk, the person will act like either. They did not understand me due to the language barrier or they did not believe me with the issues. The only thing that I was given as a compensation for having to stay in that environment was a free breakfast one morning."

"The overall experience for property was good no doubt, but the breakfast menu was decent, but it leaned heavily toward non-vegetarian options. As someone who prefers vegetarian food, I found the choices quite limited. It would be great to see more variety in veg dishes. Also, there aren’t many nearby restaurants offering good vegetarian options, which made it a bit inconvenient."

"The property feels quite dated despite charging premium rates. Its five-star designation is misleading; it aligns more closely with a four-star experience. For context, the St. Regis next door clearly meets true five-star standards and highlights the difference. That said, the food quality at Eden Roc is very good, and the villas are spacious. However, the promotional images are somewhat misleading and don’t reflect the reality of most rooms. The beach, is beautiful, and we really enjoyed spending time there each day."
