Nestling in its own private lawn garden, this single story detached property is situated on the edge of the pretty village of East Witton within a short stroll of the village green. The Paddock is comfortably furnished and well equipped, providing an ideal retreat for couples or friends and families wishing to relax and unwind in this glorious area of lower Wensleydale. This is a perfect location for exploring the many attractions that the area has to offer visitors to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Take time to explore the nearby Jervaulx Abbey and grounds, Castle Bolton, Middleham Castle (once home to Richard III, The Forbidden corner and the picturesque water falls at Aysgarth complete with scenic walks. Lovers of the countryside will find delightful gentle rambles from the door or more strenuous hikes in the limestone areas. Very happy with The Paddock overall.

Very happy with The Paddock overall. However, I rang your office on the Friday to let them know ow the fire alarm outside the bedrooms had been keeping during the night and I was concerned as it was a safety risk if not working. I was told they would contact the local office in Yorkshire dales and I would receive a call on my mobile from them. I left the cottage on Sunday 17 Nov and had received no call. I was most upset as the fire alarm being in working order and ring checked out is very important. My call had bee ignored and this is a safety concern for the next occupants.
