"The room was front facing with a lovely view 👍.. We really enjoyed a little break at the hotel , it has plenty of downstairs sitting space & the grounds outside was huge .. Special thanks to " Simon " who was working on reception & in the bar , for the friendly , and professional service.. Also to the lovely lady from housekeeping, who knocked on the door on second morning to see if we needed anything at all. It was much appreciated.. As a grand old house, there are obviously renovations the hotel said they'll get to whenever they can , but this didn't detract from our little stay , at all.. We would definitely stay there again 👍 "

"A lovely hotel, with great walks along the beach just 5 mins from the hotel. Staff are very welcoming, the bar is cozy, the restaurant is great and the rooms lovely. And it's very dog friendly with a dog shower that is great after a long walk. Have been before and will come again! "

"If the room was checked to see if everything was working like the toilet was check it would not flush on arrival then we found that the tv didn’t work but when you told staff it was all fixed that day "

"Stayed at the lodge and surprisingly roomy. Bright and well laid out accommodation. Good en suite and great views from the windows. All round, very comfortable and would definitely stay here again."

"The room was a generous size with a lovely balcony. The bed comfy though my pillow very hard and lumpy. Easily changed. Fantastic bath. Friendly staff."

"Checked in easily on Saturday afternoon. And had a drink in the bar with our dogs. Rooms comfortable, but very warm - equipped with fans. Breakfast very basic (£5) but sufficient for me. Very friendly, attentive staff. Great place - allowing dogs to stay for free. Would definitely stay again. "
