"The reception staff here was outstanding. I feel bad I lost the note with their names because they truly were exceptional. All four ladies that staffed the front desk in morning and evening were people who see hospitality as a calling not a job. They were kind, patient, gave us good directions, listened to our excitement and shared it. We stayed 5 days so we saw quite a bit of them. One day a large group came from Australia and I watched as one guest came down to complain the room was too hot and then next came down to complain the room was too cold. I marveled at how well the staff handled each situation. And when I asked for a chair in the room instead of an ergonomic ball, they made it happen right away. Room was bigger than most European rooms. There is laundry onsite if you need it. Breakfast was worth the price and there is beer and wine in the evening. It takes about 10 minutes to walk downtown and the parking garage was very tight - I feared those corners and preferred parking on the street. That aside though, I really compliment the staff and wish I could remember their names (Sara? Hannah?)!!"

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

"Nice motel with easy parking, 6km drive from Sarlat and very convenient to drive around the Dordogne valley. Easy access to Many attractions. Clean and comfortable, fair price. We stayed for 2 nights . "

"Property and grounds are great we loved it 😎 The host could soften the communication a bit, normal you get an email before you leave saying..hope you’ve had a great time, would love to see you again not we remind you of the contract rules including don’t leave any toothpaste marks in the sink…..etc..etc. a bit harsh it felt like being warned and told off by the teacher !!!!!!!"

"We had two wonderful weeks in our rented property which was situated within five minutes from excellent restaurants and village shops. Cassac-Aillac is well placed with many of the iconic beauty-spots within easy driving distance. An extra bonus were the wonderful range of birds we had in the garden. Despite being near to the main village road, it was so peaceful"

"The hosts (Americans, who settled in France a few years ago ) were very kind and helpful. They speak French, English and Spanish. The husband - who is also the cook - proposes dishes typical to the area for the dinner. Nice location, terrasse, and pool. The rooms are nice, but I would prefer a wood floor rather than tiles."
