"I am basing this review on the price paid. We came during the week in wintertime. Breakfast alone justified the stay. 24 hour corner store just a few steps away. Full grocery store a few more steps away. & then of course the beach a few more steps away. Note:water in fridge is not complementary. I thought they were because there were just four small bottles of a no nane brand. "

"We totally recommend it! The location is amazing—close to all the key points in the city. It’s the only hotel in Rio directly on the beach, without a road separating it from the sand. The restaurant has amazing views, whether you’re going for breakfast or catching the sunset while sipping caipirinhas. The entire staff was amazing—friendly, informative, and always very, very helpful and welcoming. Special shoutout to Marcus and Matheus at the front desk. Rodrigo and Bruno at the restaurant were the best!! We spent 5 days in Rio, then headed to Lençóis Maranhenses. When we came back to Rio, we had originally planned to stay at another hotel, but we canceled and decided to return to Arpoador. We’re definitely coming back in the future.
