"Our family of 6 stayed in a private room with 3 bunkbeds and a bathrooms. It fit our needs great. The shower is very small and tight for an average human. We thought the breakfast buffet was a bit too expensive. We also were surprised they wouldn’t be flexible on letting us check out 1 hour later. They want $30 per half hour. Other than that, they were busy and friendly and people were everywhere. "

"I stayed in a deluxe king room , and it felt very much like a hotel. It was clean, the facilities were clean. It’s right next to a beautiful park. Not very close to the city centre, but taking the tram was fairly easy & it’s close by. The only negatives : check in was at 2pm, and my room wasn’t ready until almost 6pm. Also, if there was daily housekeeping , it was not very apparent they were there. "

"This hostel met all of our needs. It is right on the edge of then Red Light District, so quiet a lot of people around, tough to drive to because of the very narrow streets & masses of people. They had a valet service to park our car, but was $45/day. Lots to do and see from this location within 30 min of walking. No elevator in the building, so be prepared to lug your bags up several of flights of stairs. "

"Lovely place with a great sized room and very easy to commute to and from into Amsterdam. Good set of amenities! Very easy to go upstairs and grab food or drinks too if you want. "The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
