"Had an amazing time at Wanderlust 31. I am so excited about returning, and it will be soon. My only suggestion to those who are staying for the first time do not leave your beach wagon. Your wagon is needed to transport your items from your car to the boathouse. Other than that, everything was perfect hurry up and booked your stay."

"My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and truly enjoyed our stay! The Retro Villa was clean, neat, and fully stocked with plenty of necessities. Our favorite spot in the villa was the deck with an incredible view to the Marina.We visited the beach, shopped, and experienced a relaxing and informative boat tour on the Cape Fear River. "The boat is in a great location right on the ICW..Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by. Beds were comfortable. We had 3 people, 2 slept in stern bedroom and one in the bow. Really fun way to spend a weekend rather than a motel.. Short drive to restaurants and beach. Quarters were a little tight but manageable for our group of 3. We will do it again when we get back to Wilmington. "

"What a wonderful place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the amazing view of the marina enjoying a glass of wine. The place was very clean, organized and included everything you would ever need. The host was very gracious and responsive to all of our needs. We look forward to coming back in the future!!"

"I gave it a 4 star overall rating because after getting there and starting the air conditioner it quit…no worries it was cool enough outside to open the windows etc…there was a strong smell…I’m not sure if it was a bug spray smell or that it had been closed up for a while…the bed is a bit hard and could use a memory foam topper but great location and was clean when we got there! Would stay again…it is not at all luxury but it is somewhat “glamping”….but yes we would stay again!"

"Our stay was wonderful! The accommodations were first class. The appliances, kitchenware and furnishings were all high end. Evening dinner on the back deck was tranquil. Bed rooms were surprisingly spacious. We are already locking in dates for our anniversary."

"We stayed at this property for spring break. The property was docked in an awesome little spot on the water; conveniently located near restaurants, shops and activities. Peaceful and quiet with kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend for small groups looking for a unique getaway experience."

"Great location for access to downtown Wilmington and unique stay in this very clean and modern floating home! Beautiful deck to enjoy cofee and views. Marina restaurant within easy walk and has live music on weekends. Friendly and professional staff on hand to help with questions. A comfortable and relaxing stay with friends."

"It's a convenient location in a quiet area. Able to walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Nice to be able to cook a meal rather than go out. Unfortunately, there was no ice in the ice maker, and the cutting boards are not meant to be used for food prep as they are not sealed. "

"A well maintained older home, very clean. We liked that it was close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The only downside to our stay , the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Nothing we couldn't live with for a week. Would definitely consider this property again."
