"The hard floors in the bathroom & kitchen were sticky (kind of gross). The toilet barley flushed. The rating for this Best Western was "excellent".... the truth is, it was below average. I probably would not consider staying here again."

"Though we came to Wisconsin for a funeral, we found this house perfect for all of us! It is centrally located in Wausau and we found it to be close to everywhere we went. Love the fact that it was dog friendly as my son and his wife had driven up from AZ with 2 well behaved doggos. The fenced in backyard was perfect for playing fetch and burning off some energy! Everyone slept amazing in their beds and we loved the front living room for hanging out on the couches! Our host Melissa was very good at responding to all my questions! We will definitely rent this house the next time we are back in Wausau!"

"This apartment is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It is immaculate and looks like a fresh remodel even though based on other reviews must have been done a couple of years ago. I was working remotely during our stay and the wi-fi was great. We had an A/C issue which was quickly resolved by the owner. The location was EXCELLENT! We walked to downtown (2 minutes), the river walk (5 minutes), and Athletic Park (30 minutes). Rib Mountain State Park was a 15 minute drive and Eau Claire Dells was 20 minutes.It was nice to have a washer/dryer (basement) and a full kitchen. The towels in both the kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. We didn't have to wash towels during a 7 night stay.NOTE: It is a rather loud downtown location from traffic noise. Would recommend bringing a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper. Even with the windows closed, could hear lots of traffic-particularly on the weekend nights. Had no issues sleeping with the white noise machine going.We would definitely stay here again!"
