A basic type of 'above the pub' accommodation - all you need is there, including ear plugs which do come in handy at night, but the room and bathroom are a bit shabby and could do with an update. A very convenient location, so it's ok for a night or two.

Amazing night stay

Was amazing room, with a lot of space, bathroom was lovely and clean, bed so comfortable and a beautiful big window too look out into Leeds, there was a pub open next door but couldn’t really hear them which was great

Pleasant enough stay

Read mixed reviews before my stay. Found it quite pleasant. Some people may find access outside of bar hours difficult as it’s via the fire escape. Location is good. A short walk to city centre & plenty of places to eat & drink in the immediate vicinity. It’s an old building but room was clean & adequately furnished & decorated.

Best place to stay in Leeds on a budget

We stay there every time we go to Leeds, close to everything, friendly and welcoming staff, clean and tidy, cheaper than most in Leeds, would highly recommend the Wrens

Nice Hotel

Stayed one night, hotel is in a very good spot for everything. Room was quite big and acceptable over a bar/pub which they offer a discount on drinks for staying with them.

Great place and great service

Simon was extremely helpful, very friendly & welcoming. Thank you. We are returning customers and will continue to return, it’s in an ideal location for everything and everywhere, close to the theatre and shops, 1 bedroom apartment with plenty of space. The only downfall is the music from the club behind but if you can handle a bit of noise from the music and students then it’s well worth a stay

The stay was wonderful! We even extended our stay as we had such a nice time. Simon was an amazing host, and all staff were 10/10. Room was great, price was spectacular. I am not surprised that this hotel is so popular! Will definitely return.

Location, location on a budget

Good for the price, location great for atena (was seeing OMD). Little tired but clean & practical. Mattress was a bit thin but ok. Overall, for an economic stay in the City Centre, this was a great coice & i would recommend definitely.

First time staying, had the apartment near the top of the building. Using the fire escape to get in and out was really handy, particularly as it opens near the Belgrave!

Comfortable stay

The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. There was some noise from outside when people were leaving bars but we didn't need eat plugs. The bathroom was a bit dated but everything was clean. Really great place to access the city from.
