"This property is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. An ideal base to explore Porto. Our host was extraordinarily helpful - including finding a doctor to write a script my wife needed. Mornings next to the pool looking over the Douro with fresh fruit from adjacent trees - doesn’t get much better!"

"This property is great and our host was outstanding. We were here for three nights. Our host greeted us with wine, cheese and fruit. He gave us a quick tour of the area pointing out restaurants, grocery store and bakery. He gave us a history of the property and offered suggestions for dining and sightseeing in Porto. "The staff was extremely helpful in checking us in. She was efficient, friendly and professional . She also called five minutes after we were in the room to ask how is everything . When we told her one of the sink won’t drain. She sent someone up immediately. Turned out we just did not know how to use the sink stopper. LOL"
