"This property was not at all what I expected. There was a thousand stairs to the guesthouse which is terrible. This was not mentioned on the website Our room showed a view but there was a big tree in front of the view. The toilet in the room was enclosed with such a small space that the door could not be closed. No tea or coffee facilities in the room with only a communal kitchen. The room was clean but there was not even soap in the room as expected. Will not make use or recommend this...
"The team were so helpful, they kept checking on us on our way to the place. The were absolutely helpful and we had a lovely time. I would stay there again."
"Allen and the other staff were great! It is a 1880 Mansion with 8 guest rooms and impeccably restored/maintained filled with antiques, just very relaxing. I would highly recommend for its charm, location and staff. Satori Restaurant 5-10min walk down street is Amazing food and service (ask for Shantell). Highly recommend!"
"Maryna and Mike are great hosts. Room and facilities we clean and tidy. Good location easy walk across the street to beach. 10 minute walk to most restaurants in Muizenberg. Fun atmosphere. Will be back again. "
"What a stunning and picturesque B&B overlooking Fish Hoek!!
Hospitality was amazing and nothing was a trouble.
I will definitely be staying again next time I’m in Cape Town!"
"Absolutely beautiful property. Super comfortable room with great bed and shower. Lovely decor throughout the place with a very tasteful mix of modern and original fittings. Some really thoughtful luxuries: they leave out a scrumptious cake and have a bar with open access to all manner of imbibing options for the evening. Just scribble down what you took. They provide a pick up and drop off service ( Thanks Pinto) to and from dinner ( and presumably other excursions into town) so that you don’t...
"A very welcoming hotel in the middle of Fish Hoek. All the staff we met could not do enough for us. Although there is no restaurant, The Peak coffee shop at 50m was great."

"Excellent! Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. Breakfast was excluded but we just added and the choice was extensive. parking was available just around the corner. Only two comments which did not bother us was that the room had no air-con but was very cool. Overhead fan and open windows were fine. The only other comment its that the road is quite busy and the odd train passes by but we would still definitely return!"
"We had a great stay. The staff are wonderful. The view from our window was fantatic. We stayed 9 nights while visiting friends. Breakfast was also great. Lots of good restaurants around.
We highly recommend it."
"This was a first floor in a quiet gated community a couple of kilometres away from Muizenberg itself.
The beach was just a 5-minute walk away and had afternoon walks on the beach past the kite boarders to the colourful beach huts and Muizenberg centre.
There was a local store nearby and the more general stores were about 1.5 kilometres away, bordering a township.
As a 2-bedroom apartment, it was spacious, the freezer could have been bigger, and the toilet had an ablution hose.
There's a communal swimming pool and the security staff were both helpful and friendly.
Definitely, a place for an extended stay for the quietness, closeness to the beach and a place to relax.
Ubers are easy to get, though the 22-kilometre drive into Cape Town can limit your late night returns.
We'll consider staying here again. "
