Great hotel - we travelled as a large family of eleven. Staff were amazing, helping us with local transport and always fast to respond. We organized a late check out and a late lunch before our long flight back to the states. Nice surrounding area - very safe with Constantia village and the botanical gardens

This hotel is absolutely stunning and easily one of the most beautiful places we had the chance to stay at during our trip to South Africa. The property and grounds are gorgeous, but what made our stay even more special was the staff, everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, attentive, and kind. We were celebrating our honeymoon and were so thoughtfully treated to a room upgrade, a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and so many other lovely little touches throughout our stay. It truly made us feel special and was such a wonderful way to end our honeymoon. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious, with a great selection and beautiful setting. We genuinely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this hotel

What a place! Everything is fabulous and the staff are exceptional. This was our 6th visit to the Cellars and it won’t be our last. The beautiful gardens together with the stylish interiors make for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The restaurant food is delicious too, what’s not to like?

Stayed for a few days at the end of a trip to SA. Staff are great but hotel is run down. You can see at some point this was a great hotel but now the rooms and bathrooms need a refurb. The restaurant is very pretty and the food is fine - not the best and wouldn’t recommend the restaurant for a meal out but for a hotel dinner is fine. We were not able to have a late check out which was disappointing.
