Emplacement plein centre du Grand Bornand, trés appréciable avec vue agréable sur les montagnes en face. La station est composé uniquement de petits chalets typiques et trés jolis. On pose la voiture, on ne la touche pas de la semaine. Navette gratuite pour se rendre aux téléphérique (500m) se fait aussi facilement a pied. Station particulièrement adaptée pour les petits, l'équipe de l'ESF est super. (les pistes pour enfant sont équipées de tapis roulant, ce qui leurs facilite grandement les choses). L'appartement est trés propre et trés bien équipé, cerise sur le gâteau: un couteau de cuisine qui coupe bien est disponible... Ainsi, vous pourrez couper votre charcuterie sans galérer :)

Installés efficacement et amicalement par l'hôte-propriétaire , nous avons pu profiter de la centralité du mazot dans le village , les services sont très proches et la rotation des bus très opérationnelle pour nous emmener au départ des télécabines .Le mazot est effectivement authentique et aménagé avec soin pour valoriser le moindre espace . Agréable séjour

Appartement impeccablement situé en plein village du Grand-Bornand, propre et avec un espace suffisant pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants). On pose sa voiture le samedi et on ne la touche plus de la semaine, c'est un véritable plus. Tout se fait à pied (les télécabines pour le ski alpin et le départ du ski nordique sont tous les 2 à 10 min environ). Globalement, je dirais que les prestations sont d'une qualité standard: le minimum est dispo dans la cuisine et dans le reste de l'appartement et les appareils en bon état de fonctionnement. A noter une bonne literie pour le lit adulte; c'était appréciable. Facilité de réservation via le site de la propriétaire et de paiement par virement bancaire; propriétaire disponible si besoin et réactive sur les emails. Location à recommander sans problème.

un chalet de rêve, un authentique "mazot" mais tes confortable et très bien équipé. idéal pour un couple. Chaleureux, à l'image de notre hôte, charmante et pas avare de bons tuyaux (balades, bon plan reblochon à la ferme...). cerise sur la gâteau: situé en plein coeur d'un village qui n'a rien d'une station de ski-business. "We have just returned from a fatastic weeks stay in Le Grand Bornand. It was our third year there but our first in Chalet Les Aravis but certainly not our last. The appartment was beautifully decorated, with great amenities and in a fantastic location. We can't wait to go back next year."

"L''appartement est spacieux, bien conçu, bien chauffé et très bien équipé, parfait pour 1 famille avec 2 ou 3 enfants. Il est situé en plein centre du village et à 10 mns à pieds des télécabines (mais possibilité de prendre la navette gratuite). 2 bémols cependant : - il est un peu sombre, car au RdC et il n''y a pas vraiment de vue - le lit double en 140 mériterait d''être remplacé D''autre part, il ne faut pas compter sur l''accueil de la propriétaire, qui ne se soucie ni du fait que vous ayez fait bonne route à l''allée, ni du fait que vous ayez passé 1 bon séjour en fin de semaine : aucun échange autre que ceux liés à la logistique ! C''est bien dommage, car les habitants du Grand Bornand sont par ailleurs très sympathiques !"

Lovely accommodation, location excellent

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay in le grand bornand. The setting is amazing. Beautiful alpine village with all that you need on your doorstep. Shady walks up the mountain and along the river. Very family orientated. The chalet was lovely. Immaculate and very nicely decorated. Views of the mountains from the enclosed terrace (safe to let dogs and small children wander). Events are held in the square most nights - kiddie dancercise, bands etc which seem to hold to a strict curfew so usually over at about 9/10. After that very quiet at night. Proprietor was very helpful and available if necessary in the upstairs part of the chalet. We will definately go back!
