"The room was great and the location perfect. We were able to walk all around the center of Valetta. The breakfast area is a little small, but the food was good."
"Great location for walking to all of the interesting sights. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with all of our inquiries. Valletta is a charming old town with lots of good food and sights. "

"Rooms were clean but can do with washing the floors as they are dirty. Good shops near by and restaurants to choose from. However the tour operator information is very inconsistent with bud times and your pick up. "
"We stayed here as a family (my husband, our baby, and I) and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Despite having four rainy days in Malta, we didn’t mind spending most of our time at the hotel—it was that good.
We had access to the M Lounge, which I highly recommend. It’s absolutely worth paying a little extra for. Throughout the day, there were refreshments including soft drinks, water, teas, coffee, muffins, fruit, and biscuits. From 17:00–19:00, a wonderful selection of small bites was served, such as delicious curries (chickpea, lentil, and even octopus on one evening), tarts, salads, charcuterie, fruit salads, and desserts.
The staff were exceptional—always warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make every guest’s stay special. A special mention goes to Sanju, who greeted us so warmly every morning and even offered us porridge for our baby, despite it not being a menu item.
A really thoughtful touch was when we arrived on my husband’s birthday. After checking in and going out for a few hours, we returned to find a card, dessert, and a bottle of prosecco waiting in our room. This was completely unexpected but such a lovely gesture that made our stay feel even more special.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with bottled water provided daily. The evening turndown service, complete with chocolates, was a lovely detail that made us feel truly looked after. The hotel even provided us with Childs Farm toiletries for the baby!

"Loved this hotel! Everything about it is just ideal for us. The staff go above and beyond and the beach club is incredible. Thanks for a lovely stay! "
"We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in a quiet, safe, residential area within walking distance of transit and the boardwalk by the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the hotel offers a lovely breakfast and good amenities. An all-day refreshment table (e.g. citrus water, tea, etc.) would have been nice, though the lobby Nespresso options did help if you're a coffee drinker. A microwave (even one per floor) would have provided some added convenience. TV channels other than multilingual news stations would also have been desirable for those calling it an early night."
"Excellent breakfast (although the musak could be maddening). Always helpful staff. We enjoyed our Maltese balcony - once we had worked out how to prop the windows open. East to get to the centre although up a steep road. If you want flat, Valetta is not for you. Thoroughly enjoyable stay."
"This was our first visit to Malta and the Londoner Hotel perfectly matched our needs. The location is very convenient for getting to Valletta on the ferry and for the various cruises and tours available around the islands. The hotel itself is modern and clean. We had a harbour view room which had a lovely view across to Valletta from the balcony (exactly as per the pictures on the hotel website - though it probably helped we had a room on the 12th floor).
The area around the hotel has plenty of bars and Restaraunts. Some can be a bit noisy but there are always alternatives. Otherwise it’s easy to pop across to Valletta for the evening where there are plenty of options. The Londoner itself has a bar and restaraunt which served decent food and drinks, as well as breakfast in the morning.
All in all, the hotel was a great find and one we would use again if in Malta."
