"Giovanni is a good manager. The room was clean and the view was nice. However it's right on top of the hill. finding the address is not easy as the entrance is in a narrow back alley, it is a sharp uphill and the place has a tight stairs that are not suitable for heavy luggage. Younger folx may enjoy it more."

"The owner of this property is outstanding. He goes the extra mile for his customers. The room had everything we needed and he restocked our water daily. A bottle of wine was included as well. His hospitality made our experience in Cinque Terre even more memorable. Thank you Massimiliano (the owner)."

"Beautiful view & worth the steps down to the property. One of the trails goes right by the house, so it was fun to see everyone walking. Walk in each direction from the house for fantastic views!"

"We had a lovely stay in Volastra. The private parking was a huge bonus, especially since parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult to find and expensive. The property is beautifully situated on top of the hill, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the surrounding area. Antonella was wonderful and so welcoming! She gave us helpful recommendations for walking down to Manarola, including the bus schedule for getting back up the hill and where to buy tickets for less than paying directly on the bus. She even offered to make us a coffee at 6:30 AM when we had an early checkout and couldn’t stay for the included breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She speaks French as well. A great spot to stay if you decide to visit Conque Terre, as I heard that you can also buy train tickets from her for cheaper."

"Die Wohnung hat einen traumhaften Ausblick. Sie ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Der Preis ist etwas hoch für die Wohnung. Das Örtchen ist toll. Zum Baden ist es aber schwierig. Es sind sehr viele Treppen bis zum Wasser. Mittags wird das Dorf von einem touristischen Schwarm geflutet.Leckeres Essen gibt es. Preise sind auch hoch für Italien."

"After going through a very difficult chapter in my life, my friends & I decided to go to Italy. We chose Ladybug Nest after viewing a number of different VRBOs. Ladybug Nest is paradise. The accommodations were amazing but more importantly, the customer service exceeded our expectations. The house manager was quick to respond to our emails before, during, and after our stay. "The hotel was wonderful with a beautiful view to the sea!!! And the beds were very comfortable . Wonderful breakfast. I must add: think twice before driving there because of road condition. . You can use train+bus. Any way the parking is street side but there were enough parking spots."
