A typical Ligurian house in MANAROLA with roof terrace, sea views and AC.

"The view was absolutely spectacular. The check in process was very smooth. There were 5 floors including the roof, which made it feel spacious enough for a group of 4. It could have used a little more TLC as it was dusty, cobwebs, and a scent of mold as you first walked in. I attribute that to it being very hot as you walked in, which is why I’d recommend having the AC put on before arrival to cool it down ever so slightly. The host was attentive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again."

"Giovanni is a good manager. The room was clean and the view was nice. However it's right on top of the hill. finding the address is not easy as the entrance is in a narrow back alley, it is a sharp uphill and the place has a tight stairs that are not suitable for heavy luggage. Younger folx may enjoy it more."

"We had a lovely stay in Volastra. The private parking was a huge bonus, especially since parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult to find and expensive. The property is beautifully situated on top of the hill, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the surrounding area. Antonella was wonderful and so welcoming! She gave us helpful recommendations for walking down to Manarola, including the bus schedule for getting back up the hill and where to buy tickets for less than paying directly on the bus. She even offered to make us a coffee at 6:30 AM when we had an early checkout and couldn’t stay for the included breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She speaks French as well. A great spot to stay if you decide to visit Conque Terre, as I heard that you can also buy train tickets from her for cheaper."

"We really enjoyed our suite. The room had some normal wear and tear that didn’t really impact our stay. It took us a little bit of communication with the staff to figure out that the lights and wifi only work when the room key card is in the slot by the door. But once we did that, we had to reset the breaker for the lights. It all worked out tho. The view, the AC, the bath, and the bed were all incredible. My advice for anyone who might be interested in this room: understand that you will be trekking up the hill and it. Is. A. Trek. But it’s worth the effort. We appreciated the staff and enjoyed our stay immensely."

"Perfect location. We arrived by car and rolled luggage downhill to the cross street (narrow alleyway.) From there just a brief uphill to property. Had a view of the square and the sea. Very close to train tunnel and restaurants/shops. Office staff were very helpful. Offers resident pass for anytime travel either direction on Via Dell'Amore. Discounted CT card."
