In this classic western town, the main street is lined with flat, brick-faced façades. Wander around town to get the feel of being an early high plains Westerner.
Laramie is a cute little town, I had the best steak I have tasted in years, the people were open and friendly, It is a college town with nice open clean, well kept and under control spaces. reminds me of the way Golden Colorado was 40 years ago

Laramie surprised me with a nice variety of food and drink and a very well kept inviting downtown area with good food, restaurants, coffee, and craft beer.

We went to a couple of the city parks for our granddaughter. The playground equipment was very nice and clean for her. The little downtown area was a fun place to shop. We also liked the breweries right downtown. The university was also nice.

We went to the Wyoming rib and steak house and had a pleasant meal, good foof and service. The directions call out that it is on Grand avenue but it is really behind the stores along Grand Avenue so don't be mislead by "maps", go behind grand.

Prarie Rise on 2nd street an wxcellent place for breakfast. Was recommend by front desk.
"Nice big and clean room. For the size of the room, it only had standard size bath/tub combo. Comfortable bed. Indoor pool was good even though hot tub was down. Good breakfast options with scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, biscuits, fruits, cereals. Great front counter staff!"
"Most comfortable bed we stayed in for our entire trip. The outside of the hotel looked run down, especially compared to the pictures but the room was nice and clean."
"Our entire stay was a supremely wonderful experience. Friendly and helpful staff as well as clean and comfortable accommodations. If you get a chance to eat at their in house restaurant the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you!"

"The room was very nicely appointed with plenty of lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable with very nice, fluffy pillows. The staff was very polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. I was thrilled to see a Prong-horned antelope out of my bedroom window one morning. However, one side of the window was badly fogged-over and needed replaced. it was a quiet room with everything I needed. Would definitely stay again! "
