"Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. We especially want to give a shout out to Dubravka and Hrvoje at the front desk who helped us with a very complicated issue and spent quite some time translating for us! We also got great recommendations and service from Dominik and Marin! Also have to mention breakfast, loved the selections! One side note, you do have to walk pretty far for the beach. We definitely wished that there was a more private beach option we could use with lounge chairs that you don't have to pay for. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel. It was the perfect place to escape the crowds in the old city of Dubrovnik and to enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. We particularly loved all the different areas for sunbathing (or in our case sitting under and umbrella) and for swimming. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and the hotel itself lovely and relaxing. I even got a birthday cake delivered to our room on my actual birthday! So thoughtful! And the city bus picks you up right outside the hotel, so it's super easy to get into the old town. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever return. "

"Great property and great staff. Very responsive. Though my request for a room on a higher floor was not granted my room was the first room behind the reception area, so was noisy. Also, I was not given the complementary wine as an Expedia platinum member. The hotel was a short walk to the bus line so extremely convenient to the old town of Dubrovnik. Room was clean and spacious and provided hot kettle and coffee in the room. "
