"Easily accessed just off the A38, with parking available. Very clean bedroom with a lovely shower, TV and tea making facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent food offered for breakfast including 'continental' and 'cooked full English' choices."

"I had a comfortable night - despite facing the main road the double glazing kept the noise out (although as the weather was dreadful there were fewer drunken parties roaming the streets compared with a typical Saturday night). I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. My room was recently decorated though other parts of the hotel (such as the carpet on the main stair) could do with some attention."
