"Very nice clean and comfortable property. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant food was excellent and well priced. A 2 minute drive takes you to a small town where you will find more restaurants and a small supermarket which sells the most expensive water in the world but there is a bigger supermarket further along. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the only suggestion I would have is for a small fridge in the room."

"The rooms are basic, but okay for one night in the absence of something better. However, we found that the bathroom had not been checked as there was no toilet paper and only one light working which made it very dim and lights out in main room. Bed was hard and not at all comfortable. We did not have breakfast."

"We stayed at Chateau de la Verie for two nights. What a fabulous authentically french hotel. The rooms were spacious, airy, comfortable and immaculatly clean. The owners were very welcoming and organised a restaurant for us to eat at, which was also excellent, just what we needed after a long journey.
