"The Gite at Tremolat must really be one of the best places that we have stayed and for us sets a benchmark to measure all others. A beautiful holiday home in such tranquil settings near the Dordogne was a treasure to find. The hosts were so helpful, allowing us to store our bikes under cover and sharing their ideas of places to visit. The Gite was comfortable, very well equipped, spotless and has a lovely area to sit outside overlooking the gardens. With shops and a very friendly Pizza bar just a few moments around the corner this must be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Thanks Deborah and Laurent."

"The property was very comfortable and well equipped, a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tremolat across the bridge. The garden and field between the house and river are lovely -lots of birds and butterflies. The tables inside and in the garden were great for our party of 5 and would be fine for 6 to 8. We wound recommended to anyone😊"

"The backyard and pool area was great. The house is very cute. The interior of the house was not very clean. There were many cobwebs, the floors were dirty, the furniture and bedding was older and stained, a dirty mop and bucket sat by the toilet, etc. Not as many amenities provided as in other VRBO’s we have rented in the area - ie no dish soap, hand soap, pool towels, all beds made regardless of the number of guests etc. We also paid twice as much as the listed rate because of the summer season and did not find the value as the cleanliness issue kept us from enjoying the property to its fullest."
