"Very Clean affordable stay near ORD. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes to ORD. We came in for a brief stay and found it to be clean and comfortable. The shuttle was very convenient. Gibson's was very good next door so there is a great food option as well, but surounded by multiple other things."

"Staff were nice and even though prior reviews said it was not clean, the place was clean and requests for additional things were fulfilled quickly. Yes, it’s not a brand new hotel so you will see the wear in the place but nothing that would be alarming. My only issue was regarding the breakfast. They will give you a check even if breakfast is included but all you need to do is sign and put your room number and it is taken care of. Wish they tell you this upfront but I asked and the staff were nice and polite about saying what to do. When checking out, i was charged for two for breakfast accidentally since it was included with my stay, but that was quickly and easily adjusted. Overall, yes I would choose to book here again."

"The bad reviews seem hugely overblown to me. This is an older building, but my room was sparkling clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. Most of the wear I saw was in the common hallways (the carpet there is long gone). It's turning into a Marriott, which made me kind of sad--I stayed in a lot of the cheap hotels outside ORD this trip, and this is far and away the best one. Want to single out Shirley, the van driver, who is so kind and helpful. The food nearby is also plentiful and really good; there's a grocery store around the corner, and an excellent Chinese restaurant."
