Top Lake Winnipesaukee Hotel Reviews
Fireside Inn & Suites Gilford
10/10 Excellent
"This is where to stay if you are going to a concert. Only about a 10 min walk to the venue. We have stayed there twice both for shows. Also right across the street is Patricks. We went there for dinner. 👍"
Spacious house across the street from Lake Winnipesaukee
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice property, close to by far the nicest public beach on all of Lake Winnipesaukee. Beautiful views of the lake. On a very quiet street with many pedestrians/cyclists which was nice to walk down. Host was an excellent communicator and brought extra toys and a wagon to the house when I told him we had small kids. House is technically part of a duplex but very much feels like an entire house and has a separate entrance."
Beachfront Family Retreat On Winnipesaukee - Amazing Long Views
10/10 Excellent
"This is the perfect Lake Winnipesaukee home! The core of the home was built in 1930, from pine trees on the property, and has a rustic/antique feel. Over the years, the owners built up and out, so that this is a large home with many rooms. The beach is soft, wide, and slopes gently—perfect for young children. There’s a large dock for the tri-toon we rented, a fire pit, and several outdoor picnic tables, making dinner with young children much easier! (No need to sweep the floor since families of ducks stopped by every night to feast on what the kids dropped!) The owners thought of everything! Canoes and kayaks, lawn games and board games, linens, bath towels and beach towels. We’ve rented many lake houses, and never had a house this well stocked— spices, dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, flash lights, a blue tooth speaker, binoculars, tools. One of the two co-owners, Karyn, was easy to reach and a pleasure to work with. She did everything possible to help us get the most out of the week. This was a splurge vacation for us, but well worth the cost. We all want to go back! (Note to those with young children: We took photos of the house when we arrived, and removed items that we thought the kids might break, damage or lose (billiard balls and cue sticks, glass cups in the bathroom, two little balls for a tabletop soccer game, etc,). The photos made it easy to return everything to the right place.) "
Winnipesaukee's Finest Waterfront Mansion w/Boathouse and Private Beach

"Had seven adults and two toddlers for a week. Although a lot of work has gone into the house be aware it is an older house. So accept creaky floors and window AC. There is a walk in shower on the third floor and a tub shower on both second floor bathrooms. The kitchen was fantastic for making our family dinner. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. Some windows were hard to open and shut. Some beds are against the wall so a partner may have to climb over another to exit the bed. Porch view and chairs were phenomenal. You will never tire of the view. "
"The house was everything we expected. We all loved it especially the kids! The location was great and a very nice neighborhood. We would love to come back again next year!"
