"Located by Lake Tekapo, within 3 min drive to The Church of the Good Shepherd & easy access to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are well proportioned with kitchenette, bathroom and in our case, balcony looking toward Mt John. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7 but near checkin time (3pm). Staff were very conscious to advise us to read the in-room directory, which we wished we had, especially as it advised guests of the air raid siren, located across the spill way on the fire station to alert the local volunteers of an emergency, and not impending disaster. All in all, apart from the air raid siren, it was a good stay."

"Amazing view from the deck! The unit was warm and cozy. Very spacious. Kitchen was fully equipped. Rooms were clean and comfy. Host was very communicative. Everything was perfect! You could easy see stars easily on a clear night from the deck. Would definitely recommend others here."
