Die inserierten Bilder auf Expedia sahen ordentlich aus, aber in echt war das Moorhaven einfach abgenutzt... Nach kurzer Inspektion der Unterkunft hatten wir schreckliche Kopfschmerzen von Raumduft. Also wäre durchgehend Anti-Mückenspray versprüht worden. Das Bad, heruntergekommen, voller Flecken, würde ich niemals benutzen. Positiv: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist praktisch gelegen, der See direkt...

"This is a go to temporary motel. The rates were low and if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable bed, that’s what you’re gonna get. It’s not a five star by any stretch, but you’re not paying for five stars either. The owners are nice and retirement age. The exterior pictures of the hotel are definitely outdated. It’s a stop and go kind of place. Use it for what you need it for and then time to move on."

"We checked into our room which was dated but okay. The floors felt dirty and wet. We settled in and decided to lake the best of it but when we climbed into bed the bedding was damp at our feet. We called the front desk who tried to help by bringing fresh bedding but when we went to change the sheets we discovered the foot of the mattress was soaked with who knows what!!! We asked to change rooms and they accommodated us with another room without a lake view but thankfully with a dry mattress. ...

"We parked in front of our room , comfortable bed and very clean , the A/C is a little noisy but didn’t bother me, slept well !"

"The room was clean but very basic; the husband and wife team that manages the property (for someone else) were friendly; the property urgently needs a face lift. It looks quite worn. The view and location were excellent. The WiFi did not work; there was no dining facility. The water quality for washing is quite basic since the water is pumped straight from Oxtongue Lake! We would not stay there again or recommend it to our friends."

"Curtain half off hooks, toilet paper holder not there so roll just sitting there unsanitary, ice machine broken, pop machine broken. Big thing is not even a coffee machine in room all guest were upset about that. Only good thing was beds were comfortable. Another guest said they would never stay there again. I guess you get what you pay for."

They are doing some renovations, so amenities were not operating (Outdoor pool, restaurant, tennis courts and deck) property needs some updates. the Cable was out when we were there. Good location and nice gold course attached. I hope they continue renos and investment as has lots of potential."
