"Nice historic property "

"The Kingsgate in Te Anau is conveniently located within reasonable walking distance of downtown. However, there is NO ELEVATOR (we were on 2nd floor!) and NO AIR CONDITIONING!! The hotel appears to be old and, although in fairly good condition, the lack of an Elevator & Air Conditioner were significant inconveniences. Also, their parking spaces are quite limited -- we were advised by the Front Desk Staff that if we drove our vehicle to dinner, we would most likely NOT be able to find a parking spot when we returned and would have to park wherever we could find a space along the street! If we were to return to Te Anau, I would choose to stay elsewhere!"

"Clean although a bit tired. Bonus laundry facilities on site which was good as we are travelling for some time. Staff really helpful "

"Park was good, clean tidy cabins, no free internet as advertised over our 2 night stay, staff said to many users. Please dont advertise free wifi if you cant deliver. In places the ground wasnt level so it was dangerous at night when walking to ablution block"

"It is a nice caravan site. It is nicely centrally located in Te Anau, making it easy to walk anywhere you need. Would recommend if staying overnight in the area, it does the job. "

"Lots of room and spacious. Check in team was wonderful. We had someone come to the room twice with room service and it was the wrong room. One time the door was cracked and he knocked and still started to come in! "
