The entire Lake George Area is a throwback to quaint vacation areas. There's not a lot of BIG hotels, lights, noise. It is OG ...family run hotels and motels that have been well kept for the last half century. Beautiful lake surroundings too!

Quiet little village that is alway busy with tourists and locals. Amazing views, tons to do, and there's always an event or fair going on in the busy season. So many different foods and activities will keep you busy for a week or two.

Lake George is a seasonal village, many shops closed for the winter. Some of the stores never recovered from the pandemic, The winter festival have been pretty power due to the lack of cold weather to freeze the lake

Great place to visit, lots of little shops, both upscale and discount types. Fast food and sit-down dining g could use a couple dessert type places. Fun family place, and yes, lots of kids. Like others of its ilk, parking is always an issue.

It was 4th of July weekend so it was extremely crowded. Some food establishments could have been better staffed. The fireworks display was beautiful over the lake.
"I like how friendly everyone was. Our room was super clean and so comfortable. I slept great while we were there. I really like how conveniently located the hotel is. We were able to walk to everything. My parents stayed at a different hotel (they tried to get in but you were fully booked) and their room wasn't even close to ours. "
"Staff was super friendly, property was above clean, they were always cleaning. The only recommendation would be to clean some of the old webs on the balcony’s with like a broom. Other then that every thing was perfect. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to stay here. The pictures do not deceive you."

"The staff was all very friendly. The breakfast staff in the restaurant in particular. We were staying at the hotel for a tournament and they were very quick and efficient with breakfast. The rooms were very nice and very clean. I will definitely stay there again "
"Right on the lake with lots of lounge chairs down by the water. The drinks & food were reasonably priced and good. We watched the fireworks on the lake right from the hotel. It’t definately a go again place."
