"The hotel was absolutely stunning! We stayed in room 512 and it was immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the breakfast was hot and delicious. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and made local dining recommendations. We landed on Windy City Pizza! So delicious!! The front desk clerk even upgraded our room. The views around the property you’re absolutely stunning."

"This property was perfect for our family of four. The skiing was bad this year, so we spent more down time in the condo instead. The kitchen had everything we needed, the hot tub and pool were great even though they were a little bit of a walk, and the view is spectacular! Highly recommend staying here."

"The Gem of East Bay is the perfect size for a couple or perhaps four folks who get along really well. We stayed March 21 to March 28, 2026, and found everything to be very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Other reviews mentioned road noise was bothersome, we did not find this to be the case and i slept with the window cracked open a few inches for fresh air. The complex was very quiet. The view of the reservoir with the mountains in the backdrop is stunning. Things to note: this is a second story unit. Laundry (pay with quarters) and clubhouse are located in the parking garage level (under level one units.) The clubhouse hot tub is very clean and wonderfully situated outside, to take advantage of the gorgeous view. The owner was excellent regarding communication. We would stay again. Cheers!"
