"Lovely local area - very authentically Italian. However 40 mins drive uphill from main Como lake and city, 25 mins drive to the local lake area advertised on site. Parking extremely difficult as busy with restaurant and the locals. Restaurants/shops nearby are delicious and very cheap in comparison to down in Como. Views are beautiful and the accommodation itself if nice. "

"There are few, if any, properties like this on Lake Como! Beyond the boat house being impeccably kept up and the hosts being top notch, this location is just magical. Steps from Momi, the best restaurant in the area, just out the door is motor boat rental and water sports. This is the place to stay for a once in a life time Lake Como experience. We also stayed at Mandarin Oriental on this trip and as lovely as it was, I’ll take the darsena (boat house) over that resort any day!"
