Our Bach. Fish, ski or relax in an amazing alpine setting!

Welcome to our home in the fantastic area of Lake Coleridge Village. A little more than an hour from Christchurch, 'Our Bach', is a place to relax and reset.

The Lake Coleridge area offers natural beauty alongside many outdoor activities. With a number of ski fields within easy reach and a world class golf course just down the road at Terrace Downs, you won't be short of things to do! There are also more leisurely pursuits including fishing, trekking, jet boating, hunting or just simply taking in the view and fresh alpine air. A deep-water lake stocked with trout and salmon, and arguably one of the best salmon fishing rivers in the country. You will undoubtedly leave knowing that the Lake Coleridge area is a special place.
As this is our family bach, please look after it and leave it as you found it. Otherwise, relax and enjoy!

If you wish to venture further, Methven is 45 minutes away and also provides access to other attractions including Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa.

If you are looking to head to Mt Hutt for some skiing, we are 56km or approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes from our bach to the skifield carpark.

It is worth noting that there is no public transport, shops or restaurants in the village. The closest shops are in Darfield or Methven.

We invite you to enjoy the tranquillity of Lake Coleridge Village at 'Our Bach'. The entire property is available for guest use, excluding the standalone garage.

Please be aware that we do not supply linen (sheets/towels) hence why we can keep the price as it is. Duvets/duvet covers/pillows/tea towels and hand towels are provided. We don’t have a cleaner, so it is up to renters to clean up after themselves including doing the dishes/vacuuming/clean bathroom/kitchen. All cleaning products are provided.
