IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIEW, not to mention you can't beat the price!
This ocean front condo has beach access within 60 seconds of our door.
It sits approximately 20 feet above sea level and is located less than 12 feet from the waters edge. The view is nothing less than spectacular. An enlarged 1st floor terrace with a roof for shade allows you to enjoy ocean front dining or to just kick back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. A newly installed shade sail on the spacious 2nd floor terrace provides a beautiful view while allowing for protection from the sun. Granite countertops in kitchen and an enlarged bedroom make this unit unique within the resort. Direct TV with CNN, Disney, Discovery, Nat Geo and many more. Lounge in the pool just outside your back door or walk down the steps to snorkel or dive at Playa Lagun. Two dive shops and two restaurant's are located next to our property with lots of other restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Christoffel National Park and Shete Boca are about 15 minutes away.

The Island of Curacao has many wonders to enjoy. Take in the most beautiful sunset you've ever seen, snorkel before breakfast, dive right from our beach, teach your children to swim or eat at one of the two restaurants located at Playa Lagun. All of this are at your fingertips from the Ocean Condo at Playa Lagoon. The ocean is calm and the sea life is abundant. The climate is warm, yet our trade winds keep you comfortable. Curacao is located outside the hurricane belt next to Aruba in the Caribbean where it never rains for very long.

You are sure to run out of time before running out of things to see and do. We have a full time Resident Manager on site to attend to your needs and ensure a carefree stay. If you are arriving late, let us know and we can arrange to have a small food/drink package waiting for you.

Simply Amazing
We had a great stay at this place. The view was perfect. Just below is the beach which is very accessible through the Bahia Resto stairs. Most of the time, we did homecook meals and kitchen is fully equipped. I would definitely recommend this place. Itā€™s worth the bucks.

A Bit of Paradise
Our stay at Scottā€™s was wonderful. The place made us feel right at home and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view! I could have sat on the patios for another week watching the sunset. The snorkeling was amazing. I even saw an octopus! We checked out some of Scottā€™s suggested restaurants and enjoyed them all. The spot was convenient to many fun places to explore but also perfect for simply hanging out. The iguanas were so nice to see each day and the pool was refreshing after our snorkeling adventures. Thank you, Scott, for sharing your lovely place with us. We hope to be back one day.

Awesome place to stay. We were a little suspicious that it wouldn't be as great as it advertised, but we loved it! Walked to a swim and snoring beach right outside the property, and then drove to 4 others within 15 minutes. Scott was great to work with and gave great advice on where to go and eat, etc.

Great space and view - a bit far from the action
The space was beautiful and huge and the view was unreal. I do think itā€™s a better space for groups than single people (they have a grill and kitchen but I didnā€™t end up using those). Something I wish I knew was how hard it would be to get around. It was very far from most things and taxis there were very expensive. There was a bus that came once every two hours. It would be nice if there were tours that came to the resort or picked you up from there for those who canā€™t drive. That said I would definitely come back with a group (and a car) as it was a lovely place!

GREAT LOCATION!
Lagoon Ocean Resort and this property is an awesome place to stay if you want to stay on the more quiet side of Curacao near some of the best beaches on the island. The location is directly on a cliff over Playa Lagun, which offers a great view, slightly rocky beach and beginner snorkeling. Onsite dive shop offers snorkel rentals at $12 per day. The apartment itself is sufficient, but it's all about the location. The bed was just two twins pushed together with separate bedding for each. Air conditioning upstairs works OK, but takes a while to cool, while the downstairs A/C leaves more cooling to be desired, even on the lowest setting. Most cookware and utensils are provided, however the stove and electrical outlets in the kitchen need to be looked at. The television is an Android SmartTV with Netflix and YouTube. Internet in the apartment is good. Power went out one day for the entire side of the island, and that lasted 9 hours. No fault of this property. There is also a restaurant onsite, which is BAD. Avoid it and spend your money at Discover Lagun, just across the street from Playa Lagun beachfront. The owner/manager, Scott, was VERY responsive to any concerns we had and very patient in dealing with us when we needed help completely unrelated to the property. A++ for this owner. Hopefully I'll get to come back to Scott's apartment some day!

Very nice stay
Great property with nice view of lagoon. The only negative would be the weak wifi connection. We were continually getting bounced off and then had to wait to reconnect. Overall a clean and quiet place to rent.

Beautiful views, nice beach and snorkeling
We were very fortunate to have stayed the month of January in Scott's condo at Lagoon Ocean Resort-absolutely fantastic views!! The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed many home-cooked meals and were only steps from the very good Bahia restaurant. There are many good restaurants less than 10 minutes away in Westpundt. The tap water is great for drinking-Curacao has a desalination plant known for great quality water. There is no built-in oven but the toaster oven was large and worked great for baking/roasting meats and vegetables. Scott provided us with information on sight seeing, restaurants and grocery shopping. The condo has ac in both the living area and the upstairs bedroom. There are screens on all windows!! The west end of Curacao is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful. We went snorkeling daily at different beaches and the snorkeling was pretty good. We saw people shore diving and night snorkeling from the Lugan Bay beach. While snorkeling you'll see various fish and something different every day. We rented a car for the month from a local company-Dushi car rentals. They had much better reviews than the well known rental car companies--they had no extra charges and met you at the airport. Amir was great to work with and our car was very nice. The manager Ivy did a great job cleaning the cono. She also washed our clothes for a reasonable fee. Our rental was well worth the price and we had a perfect month in paradise!! Thank you Scott

Love Lagun!
Our stay at Scottā€™s apartment was great!! We had everything we needed including two beach chairs which was fantastic! When a tropical storm was looming the day we were supposed to check out Scott called and asked if we needed to stay a couple extra days which was very thoughtful! Do stop and get groceries at Centrum on way out - we grew a bit tired of the Bahia restaurant- although it was actually pretty good and also had incredible views! Thanks!!

Have had better visits than the last.
Our plane was delayed and arrived at night...no parking spaces left to park our rental car. Parked in spot held by someones potted plant and noticed driver door keyed next day. Experienced 4 legthy power outages that week with no generator. Spotty wi-fi and was supplied with incorrect network name & password for internet connection. Had to obtain correct network/password from our neighbors. Stayed 9 days and fresh linens/ trash bags were not supplied on 7th day.

10 days in paradise!
We would describe this property as a home away from home. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We canā€™t say enough about the views. The sunsets were beautiful! Scott was was easy to reach and accommodating. We loved visiting the more isolated areas that were nearby with a car. We would definitely rebook Scottā€™s place if we return to CuraƧao for another visit.

Scott's place was just what we were looking for!!
Scott's place was as advertised, stunning views, convenient to amazing beaches, snorkeling, and good restaurants. We spent 8 nights and did not want to leave. We snorkeled at Playa Lagun plus one other spot every day. Our favorites other than Playa Lagun were The Blue Room, Tugboat Beach and with the turtles @ Playa Piscado/Playa Grandi. We did see turtles at several other places including Playa Lagun. Our favorite restaurant was Sol Food but others were very good as well. Visits to Shete Boka and to visit the flamingos @ Flamingo Sanctuary Sint Willibrordus were amazing as well. We hope to visit this beautiful island again soon.

Stayed allmost 4 weeks. It was womderful view and calm. U need a car! My husband slept well but I who is tiny didnt had good sleep, the bed was to hard. The two restaurants in Lagun was ok, better service and nice staf at the one further away and they have really good dive instructor ā˜ŗ and diving places.

Exactly what we hoped for.
We just left from a week at Scott's condo at Lagoon Ocean Resort. We had an amazing time and the photos are accurate. We had one small hiccup with the stove and both the owner as well as the caretaker were quick to offer assistance. The WiFi worked well enough for us to check emails, and WhatsApp messages etc. The lagoon itself was stunning, never busy, and the snorkeling was top notch. We saw a plethora of fish, occasional turtles, and got really lucky on our last swim when saw a spotted stingray. You will definitely need sunblock and it's a good idea to bring some bug spray. We made a few trips to local supermarkets for basics, sandwich food, and charcoal for the BBQ. With a car, there's many nearby beaches each with its own reason for visiting. No reasonable traveler would be disappointed with this rental.

We had all the amenities, there was an ice chest, beach chairs, and all we needed to be able to cook at the house as we wished. Everything worked and Ivy, the lady who provided the key and gate code, was always available fir any questions. Had an amazing time, will definately return and rent from Scott again!

Beautiful views from a safe and cozy condo
My 10yr old daughter and I traveled out of the US for the first time and we chose this condo as our first experience. The views were amazing and the small gated resort was perfect, quiet, safe, and cozy. We had friendly people all around us and easy access to the beach. The pool was right out the back door. The entire experience was very easy, Scott is great to work with. Ivy, the caregiver, is a gem. We were fortunate not to need to contact her on the 9 nights we stayed, but she did come and clean the room a few days in. She was non intrusive and gave us time to get out of the room and out of her way (my choice, she wasn't running us out ;). We ate out most nights but there were pots and pans in the condo if we did chose to eat in. The back porch was my favorite part. The birds on the island are beautiful. So colorful, just like the buildings. We saw a pod of dolphins swim by one morning. They took about 5 mins to swim past the opening to the cove, so it was a nice treat to see. We only saw their little arched backs and fins but it was still neat to watch. The snorkeling right off the beach is great but there are also several really nice beaches within ten minutes of the condo. We saw turtles and all kinds of beautiful fish and crabs. We are planning a return trip next year and Scott's place is at the top of our list. You can't beat the price of Scott's condo for the views you get. Everything was perfect.
