"My husband and I are both from Patterson. He passed away three years ago and I did this trip with a friend to take pics and visit place we hung out at. The house was awesome. Heather was a great host. I accidentally locked my self out and she helped me to get back in and she was on vacation!!:). I will stay here again in the future!! I would have loved to see some local art on the walls! I may just have to send her some of the pics we took!!!!"

"Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. "It was a safe, quiet neighborhood, and the house was clean. I spoke to the owner over the phone and he was very nice. My husband and children loved fishing out back. We kept a very close eye on our children (ages 5-13) because of the water access. We also enjoyed that it was close enough to stores, food and gas. With a little bit of a drive we saw plantation houses, zoos and more. I would definitely recommend!"

"The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches...

"This was such a memorable birthday! From the enriching history of the property to the coziness of both inside and outside aspects of the home. Mom enjoyed the antique aspects and my boyfriend enjoyed the serenity of the lush trees - I enjoyed that it made me feel like I was in the Princess and the Frog. This was such a perfect spot filled with so many things that made it a good getaway. We enjoyed the gazebo and pond, and to our joy and surprise the little friends in the pond (alligators)!!!!...

"This was the cutest place, it was so cozy and had everything we needed and it was the perfect location. It was within walking distance to the Mardi Gras parade. The only thing I would change is the curtains. They are very light and let all the sunlight in which isn’t a bad thing, I just prefer a dark bedroom."
