We love this property because you can literally walk to charming "Old Town La Quinta" in just 5 minutes. Old Town features numerous restaurants,coffee shops, ice cream shop, tap room, unique boutique shopping, and a fabulous Sunday farmers market open Oct-May.

1650 sq/ft open floor plan concept with 4 bedrooms & 2 full baths, cooling blue pool & spa!

Just a short walk from the house is the start of the beautiful "Bear Creek" & "Fred Wolf Preserve" trail which offers hiking, biking, walking with gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa mountains. You will also find two parks, tennis courts, pickleball courts & fitness facility within a 5 min walk.

Minutes away from over 100 world-class golf courses including Silver Rock, La Quinta Country Club, and PGA West, these are the courses that also host the "American Express" PGA tournament in January. Indian Wells Tennis Gardens just 10 minutes away. Close to specialized markets, health food stores, 10 minutes to Coachella & Stagecoach, 15 minutes to Thermal home of HITS horse show, 30 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. 20 minutes to the famous walk in Palm Desert: El Paseo.

Fabulous location

Stayed for a week for a Mother’s Day getaway with my infant, husband & Mom. We had a car but preferred walking in to town for getting out/dining out in the downtown area. The location was amazing and so close to many fav local restaurants & spots! Was nice to be able to park in the garage. House is well equipped with everything you would need for a stay! Communication with the owner was great.

Excellent Location

We had a wonderful 31 night stay at Relaxo Ranchero. Olympia was a great host and responded quickly. Her home is located between Old Town and the Pickleball courts and is so convenient to everything we wanted to do. The beds are very comfortable. We hope to return next year.

Great getaway!

This was one of our best experiences with Vrbo, even with a few hiccups after arrival. Olympia is wonderful and so helpful! We loved the pool amd location. Within walking distance of a nice park and old town La Quinta. Highly recommend!

Rancho Relaxo

We celebrated the 4th of July, and it was awesome! The home had everything needed. Had some problems with the pool as the waterfall was not working but Olympia was on it. We texted her and she sent the pool guy right away! Thank you, Olympia! Grocery Outlet was nearby so we were able to buy ice to refill the ice chest and the ice was only 99 cents! When we left we had lunch at Casa Mendoza, and it was perfect to finish our stay at La Quinta. Highly recommend!

Perfect location in Old Town La Quinta!!

This is a very nice home literally across the street from Lavender Bistro, arguably the best restaurant in La Quinta. Lavender is so good, and so convenient, we ate there 3 times in just 5 days! Just a few more blocks to the north is the center of Old Town La Quinta where there are many more excellent shops and restaurants to enjoy. You really won't need your car once you park at this home! Everything is within walking distance. The home is just as advertised. It is comfortable, clean and updated. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in the heart of Old Town. There are also many pool toys located in the garage for those that want to play in the pool. Unfortunately we were a bit too busy on this trip to enjoy the pool. Next time for sure. Thank you Olympia for being such a wonderful host and also for being so responsive. You are the BEST!! The information you provided outlining the different local attractions was super helpful. We can't wait visit again!!

November Stay

We really loved the property and the pool. Great outdoor space and very comfortable beds/linens/TV's/internet. Perfect location - Just some advice - Make dinner reservations the week of Thanksgiving early at the nicer restaurants. Hard to get in at the last minute. We enjoyed ourselves and nice neighbors. Great location.

Rancho Relaxo is in a great location near Old Town La Quinta and great restaurants. The house is really nice and comfortable and the pool and spa were inviting and relaxing. Planning on making this an an annual event!

Fantastic Getaway

This was a perfect location! Easy to get to everything we wanted to do, easy walking distance to Old Town LaQuinta, plenty of space for the bigger kids to sprawl out while the little ones napped. Everything was easy to find, everything clean. Thank you Olympia!

The house was perfect for our short trip, very clean, wifi was provided, perfect sized home altogether. The pool was a huge plus! Pretty unique also as it’s located in the front of the home. Loved the stay, would definitely stay again!

Perfect La Quinta Weekend Getaway

Had a girls weekend trip at this amazing house and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of space in the 4 bedrooms. For some reason we thought the pool would be situated in the back of the house but realized upon arrival that the pool is situated in the front yard of the house. There are privacy walls and thoughtful landscaping that quickly allowed us to fully enjoy the pool, equipped with pool accessories, Adirondack chairs that sit in the shallow area of the pool, sun umbrellas and chaise lounge chairs. The house is clean! I mean very clean and this was the first thing that struck all of us. It’s honestly the most important thing for me and if the cleanliness factor is not there or up to par with expectations the whole experience kinda goes down from there. Not so with this house. Olympia’s cleaning crew must be amazing. Appreciated clean sheets, comfy beds and the tasteful furniture and plentiful seating areas. Loved that the house is complete with smart tv with all the major streaming services so movie viewing was a cinch. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items you would normally find in your own home. Olympia was great and very responsive and we appreciated the option for a late check out which is pretty rare these days. We loved this place and I would totally return. Thanks Olympia! We all appreciated the cleanliness and overall quality of the house, furniture, decor, and well appointed kitchen (and private pool!).

Lovely and Relaxing Stay

This home definitely lives up to its name, Rancho Relaxo. It was well furnished and very clean. The pool and jacuzzi was so much fun to play in. Having an umbrella mount in the pool was a genius idea! Overall, a very modern yet cozy home to relax and unwind in.

Perfect stay

Our time here at Rancho Relaxo was just that. The home, pool, area, Olympia were all wonderful. Six days was not long enough, and we will return for another stay as long as we can. I’ve rented homes in PS, P. Desert and now La Quinta. I felt more at easy here. The beautiful surrounding mountains, Palm trees and blue skies are always so welcoming. Olympia is a delight and so very prompt when asking questions and met every need. The pool guy was cool as well! Thank you again for letting us have a stay here. The other reviews are spot on. Gorgeous inside and out.

Family getaway

This home was perfect for our trip. There was seven of us. Two kids and five adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. The pool was fab! Olympia, the owner was great too. Answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. We loved it!! It was a super fab family trip that we will never forget.

Long weekend escape

This is our 6th year staying at Rancho Relaxo. Always such an amazing time and Olympia is the best host. House is spacious and so fun!

Great location.

The location was excellent to walk to Old Town which has lots of restaurants and little shops. The weather also helped being able to walk everywhere ☀️☀️ Olympia was so easy to work with and accommodating and her response time to questions was excellent. My only criticism would be that I did not feel the bathroom rugs had been washed from the previous guests but that is based on observation as I did not ask. I did throw them all in the washer (on site and handy)and felt much better afterwards so an easy fix.

Beautiful relaxing home and great location!

The pool, spa and home were beautiful, clean and convenient access to old town. All pictures are just as seen and Olympia was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Getaway in LaQuinta

This place is absolutely amazing!! My family and I had a great relaxing stay. The place was super clean and had all the amenities needed to feel at home. We will definitely be booking this place again in the near future.

Spacious and great location

The home was immaculate upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable. The pool and spa were nice too. August can be a bit hot but the pool was still refreshing. It is super close to old town la Quinta but unfortunately the pandemic has put a damper on outings as with most places everywhere.. I would love to return when everything Is back to normal and take A stroll to old town.
