"We enjoyed our trip and stay at Hotel Heron. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. The only criticism from my husband was he missed having a comfortable reading chair or coffee make in the room. He had to go down to the lobby to find coffee and comfortable seating in order to read before the rest of us woke up and got moving. We enjoyed watching Alexandria’s birthday fireworks from the rooftop bar area- a big bonus for sure! "

"Booking was simple and easy on-line. Even during a very busy 4th of July weekend all questions were answered with patience and friendly service. The room was comfortable. Parking was available in the garage once the fireworks ended later that evening which worked out great. Looking forward to experiencing the rooftop restaurant with the views we my husband and I return. "

"I loved the stay. Rooms were a little small. However the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I was supposed to get a room with a balcony, however, when we arrived. I was told bookings from Expedia were 3 days behind with their system and couldn't give me a room with a balcony. However, the staff member upgraded my room at no extra charge with a balcony as a result of my inconvenience."
