"this would be a location where you just want to get a night's sleep. Cheap amenities, small TV with incomplete list of channel selections."

"My favorite hotel stay to date. Clean, comfortable room. Free 24/7 coffee & tea in the lobby. Plus, coffee makers in the rooms, microwaves, and refrigerators. Staff were all friendly & helpful. Free, delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options including hot food such as scrambled eggs, sausage, & potatoes. Free parking was convenient. Top of the line exercise equipment in the fitness room. And absolutely LOVE that there were Beekman 1802 soap, bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner for...

"Had the hotel for 2 nights but since I took my luggage with me after the first night the staff checked me out of my room even though I never formally checked out or notified the front desk that I was leaving. Later on that evening when I returned, a couple was assigned my room and came in while I was in there. Afterwards, when night management clocked in, again my room was assigned to another couple, that came in again while I was in my room. Not the best hotel experience I've had."

"The rooms were very clean. Nice updates in the hallways. Ate dinner in the hotel it was very good. The breakfasts were very good. The only reason I gave four out of five stars is the big glass curio in the lobby. It had a beautiful harp in it but the cabinet nor the contents hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It was heavily coated with dust. Couldn’t help but notice it while I was standing and waiting to check in. There was a pretty metal shelf with some cute items on it in the hallway on the...

"Nice place to stay, room was really nice"

"Lovely person at front desk carried luggage up for us since no elevator."

"Second time staying here. Clean rooms, staff is friendly and helpful. Next to Blauhm Bros which is perfect for a nightcap."

"It was a very nice experience. Would definitely go back."

"We like the historic hotel vibe and its downtown location. An anchor like the Decker is vital for Main Street revitalization. We wished that the bar had been open on a Thursday evening, but the manager said the owner is working on leasing that operation. A lamp on both sides of the comfy bed would be most welcome."

"This is the first Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at that I felt I went back in time to 30 years ago. This is so outdated I’m shocked that IHG puts their name on this property. Needed remodeled 20 years ago. The coffee looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Was so dirty I left without showering. I’ve been an IHG member for almost ten years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. So disappointed that I paid for this online otherwise I would have left."

"Good breakfast available! Could be better with more appropriate food and articles but it was a good idea."
